Neuro Linguistic Programing (NLP) is now in its 3rd generation since its conception back in the seventies. Created by two individuals who had a wanton curiosity and passion to explore the patterns of individuals who were excellent John Grinder and Richard Bandler worked together using the core of NLP "modeling" to codify and re create the results of three therapists who at the time where said to be doing miracles.

During this process John and Richard attracted a lot of attention from many organisations and individuals globally. They had a strong following on University campus in California from graduates who they often used as practice material for honing patterns and experimentation (non were injured as far as I am aware). Some of the early students played a part in developing additional works from the presentations of the first patterns developed. Since those days many things have happened in the development of the field and multiple branches spread, non stronger than those attached to the source.

About Metropolis

Metropolis designs and delivers training's giving respect to the core foundations of the original "classic code" and the spirit of the creators and students of the time. John Thompson (founder of Metropolis) has been trained by many individuals who were part of the original group of students and also currently delivers Premier Practitioner in the UK (designed by  John Grinder, Carmen Bostic St Clair, John Thompson and Michael Carroll). Working with individuals and organisations in the USA and Europe Metropolis brings a pragmatic, natural experiential and provocative approach with humor to all training's ensuring a unique accelerated learning experience.

About John Thompson

John has a passion for training and has learnt from world class trainers before qualifying as a trainer himself. After becoming a trainer this led to delivering certified courses in the UK and Norway leading to him becoming in demand in the USA. Over the last two years time has been spent training in the USA and UK. Acting as consultant to many business organisations John brings a pragmatic bridge between the ambiguity and subjectiveness of NLP to objective world of business.

Working for the last four years on the International NLP trainers Training (NLP Academy) as lead evaluator and head coach gave John an unprecedented knowledge and skill base. He is currently and designing and delivering corporate training's, certified NLP training's and Ericksonian Hypnosis courses in the UK. Autumn 2008 will see the launch of Metropolis Miami LLC with a training in South Beach and more planned for early 2009.
